Wow, I'm nothing if not predictable!! Last blog was BEFORE the school year! lol I noticed I mentioned Freedom Academy for a school of choice...SO glad my kids didn't get in...actually Tyler DID get in...ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! I had to decline, because they couldn;t guarantee Elizabeth getting in the next year---I'm not diggin' trying to get my kids to and from a school with only one car--that leaves for Salt Lake City every weekday at noon! Whew, I dodged a bullet on that one! Anyway, this year has been academically awesome for both my little geniuses! I love both their teachers and they surely have progressed as much as I could have hoped. And anyway, beggars can't be choosers, right? Or I think that's what I heard somewhere a long time ago!
Elizabeth is 10. She loves Achievement Days, playing with her BEST FRIEND EVER, Loren, and watching American Idol with me after Tyler goes to bed...:)I cannot believe I have a pre-teen already! Where HAS the time gone? She loves living close to grandma because she gets to see her cousins a lot and likes riding around with them. Makes it nice for me to have help with the child entertainment part of mothering!
Tyler is 7; can't believe it! He's a little "small" for his age, or so he gets told by a few a his smart-mouth little "friends" at school. I gave him the"good things come in little packages" adage, which seemed to appease and impress him for now. Thank goodness! He rarely stops talking. He is always ALWAYS asking questions. Lots of which I don't know the answer to! At first I thought he would be a weather-man, but now I'm leaning toward rocket scientist or microbiologist. Can't get enough of that stuff, apparently! It just makes me wish all the more that John was home at nights to help field those hard questions to! But I love it, really!
I am really blessed this year to be the recipient of some new technology that assists me in my walking. A company called Bioness invented a cuff that fits just below my left kneecap that sends electical stimulation to the nerves in my leg, that in turn helps my gait and makes it easier to walk. It essentially walks FOR me, thus eliminating the likelihood of me tripping or falling and breaking my bones! Can we all say, "Hooray," together? It is truly a blessing! This device is rather costly, so it was a HUGE blessing that the opportunity presented itself that we were able to find some way to afford this. Not without great cost, but worth it! I credit a very loving and genius husband for this! Now, if I could just stop trying to lose the controller!! j/k
Summer is upon us again. Can't believe how quickly the time flies! We are truly grateful for good friends, the Gospel, our health, and a safe place to live, work, and raise a family. See you later!

Wow...I'll bet I rank right up at the top of the "WORST BLOGGERS IN THE WORLD!!" Feels just like i used to when I waited forever between personal journal entries. Thank goodndess I pulled myself out of THAT very bad habit! You know, this year is going pretty alright so far. Kids are a year oldre, fr which they are daily grateful. The house hasn't fallen down any further 9knock on wood), and summer is coming. YIPPEE! I suppose I have Mamaw and Papaw Breeding to thank for the fantastic weather this moth. They took all the snow with them to Kentucky. Thanks guys! ;) They should be on their way back by now. Hope they leave the bad weather!
I applied for my little ones to attend Freedom Academy, the charter school nearby, for next school year. They will conduct a lottery next month. I SO wish they could get in, but 1st and 4th grades are looking to be the hardest to get into this year (OF COURSE THEY ARE!)
Well I don't have that much to say right now. Grateful for health, strength, and family. We are indeed blessed. Good luck and prosperity to you all.

Summer is here and the excitement of seasonal activites abounds. How can you not be infected with the excitement of Seven Peaks through a child's eyes? School is finally out and the possiblities for fun are seemingly endless. So goes life at the Breeding household. Every 5 minutes the following question is posed by one or more children: "When can we go to Seven peaks again? Not right now? Why not? Dad said we could go everyday!" To which the following is given: "Hmm...well, dad's not here everyday and he has the car, so "GO PLAY!" (lol) It looks to be a long summer. Thank goodness for The Little Big Book for Moms and playdough and painting classes on Tuesday mornings. And cousins! Thank goodness cousins come to play nearly everyday.
